When the surgery is closed the telephone will divert to an answer phone message giving the NHS 111 telephone number.
If you feel you or the person requiring medical attention is having what appears to be a heart attack please dial 999 for an emergency ambulance.
If you require any medical advice when the surgery is closed please contact NHS Direct and they can give you health information directly to you.
7 Day Access – 0161 934 2827
The Walk-in Centre is based at the Integrated Care Centre in Oldham town centre and is open 8am – 8pm no appointment is needed.
The telephone number is 0161 621 3400. The staff can deal with colds, flu like symptoms, stomach upsets, sprains, stings, emergency contraception advice, muscle and joint injuries.
Your GP will be informed in writing of any treatment or medication issued; you may also be contacted by the practice for any further follow up or actions requested from the Walk In Centre.
7 Day Access
The 7 Day Access is an out of hours service provided for patients who cannot get an appointment with their GP at a suitable time, they hold clinics at Royton Medical Centre, Royton Health & Wellbeing Centre, ICC Oldham, and Failsworth.
You can call them on 0161 934 2827 anytime and arrange an appointment in the evenings from 6:30pm – 9pm, and also at weekends from 9am-5pm.
You are now able to go to any of the pharmacists in the scheme.
Please ask at reception for list of pharmacies within your area.
There is no need for an appointment you will receive expert advice and help on the following conditions:
- Colds and flu like symptoms
- Eye infections
