Update on Our Women’s Day

On Saturday the 28th January we had our Women’s Day at the practice. This event was focused on women’s health, in particular cervical screening.

During the event our two nurses provided 48 appointments for women who were due their cervical smear. We experienced high levels of attendance and our usual rates of non attendees was significantly reduced.

Due to the success of this event, we have discussed the possibility of having event days like this on a more regular basis. As soon as a decision is made, we will of course release more information.

The practice would like to thank everyone who attended and helped to make this day a huge success.
