When the surgery is closed the telephone will divert to an answer phone message giving the NHS 111 telephone number.


If you feel you or the person requiring medical attention is having what appears to be a heart attack please dial 999 for an emergency ambulance.


If you require any medical advise when the surgery is closed please contact NHS Direct they can give you health information directly to you.

The Walk-in Centre is based at the Intergrated Care Centre in Oldham town centre in theIntergrated Care Centre and is open 8.00am - 8.00pm no appointment is needed. The telephone number is 0161 621 3572. The staff can deal with colds, flu like symptoms, stomach upsets, sprains, stings, emergency contraception advice, muscle and joint injuries. Your Gp will be informed in writing of any treament or medication issued. You may be contacted by the practice for any further follow up or actions requested from the Walk In Centre.

You are now able to go to any of the pharmacists in the scheme. Please ask at reception for list of pharmacies within your area. There is no need for an appointment you will receive expert advise and help on the following conditions. Allergy, constipation, coughs, colds and flu like symptoms, conjunctivitis, cystitis, diarrhoea, eye infections, fever. IF YOU ARE EXCEMPT FROM PRESCRIPTION CHARGES YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR MEDICINE FREE OF CHARGE.
